Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TradiHub, operated by Ashley Tucker trading as TradiHub AI (ABN 98 396 386 040) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use TradiHub.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • If registering as a tradie, you must hold a valid ABN and any licences required for your trade in your state or territory
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

3. How TradiHub works

TradiHub is a marketplace that connects homeowners with tradespeople. We provide the platform for listing profiles, posting jobs, sending quotes, and managing reviews.

We are not a party to any agreement between tradies and homeowners. We do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any tradie listed on the platform. We do not verify the quality of work performed. Any contract for services is solely between the tradie and the homeowner.

4. Account types

Homeowners (Free)

Homeowners can browse tradies, post jobs, request quotes, and leave reviews at no cost. No subscription is required.

Tradies (Free and Paid)

Tradies can create a free Starter profile or subscribe to a paid plan (Pro or Business) for additional features. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.

5. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in Australian Dollars (AUD)
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial months
  • We may change pricing with 30 days written notice; existing subscribers are grandfathered for 90 days
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe; their terms apply to payment transactions

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information in your profile, quotes, or reviews
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Use TradiHub to spam, harass, or abuse other users
  • Scrape, crawl, or collect data from TradiHub using automated tools without permission
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' accounts
  • List services you are not licensed or qualified to perform
  • Post content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, quotes). By posting content on TradiHub, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content as part of the TradiHub service.

The TradiHub name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Ashley Tucker trading as TradiHub AI. You may not use our branding without written permission.

8. Reviews

  • Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and not incentivised
  • Google Reviews displayed on TradiHub are synced directly from Google and are unmodified
  • We do not remove reviews unless they violate these Terms or applicable law
  • Tradies may report reviews they believe are fraudulent for our review

9. AI features

TradiHub includes AI-powered features for paid plan subscribers. These features are provided as tools to assist your business operations. AI-generated content (suggestions, drafts, analysis) should be reviewed before use. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI output.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

  • TradiHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of our platform, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption
  • We are not responsible for the conduct, workmanship, or reliability of any tradie or homeowner on the platform
  • Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ashley Tucker trading as TradiHub AI from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of TradiHub, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.

13. Account termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your profile and content will be removed from public view
  • Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of TradiHub after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
